Our high-quality DTF UV allows anyone, from small to large businesses, hobbyists and brands, to customize any rigid merchandising product, such as bottles, pens, or sunglasses. Your files must meet the following requirements:
- 300dpi resolution
- We recommend a minimum line thickness of 2pt/2mm (less than this thickness can make peeling it off the carrier very difficult)
- Upload the files with the exact dimensions you want us to produce. We do not resize files.
- Transparent background
- We recommend that your file has a good resolution. Pixelated file = pixelated print
- No mirror effect. Send your file exactly as you want it to appear.
- If your file only has white, that’s not a problem; even if it is not visible in the preview, the machine will detect it. It is not necessary to add a background.
DTF UV does not require heat to be applied, but it is important that you read these tips:
- Do not apply it on fabrics, as it will not adhere properly and will eventually peel off. Only use on rigid materials.
- Like regular DTF, DTF UV does not withstand heat, so we do not recommend using it on items that will be placed in dishwashers, microwaves, or any other appliance that reaches high temperatures.
- It is important not to submit files where the line thickness is excessively thin. This can cause, especially with white logos, that the thinnest parts of the design do not print properly due to the printers’ shrinkage.
We and our customers have tested DTF UV on hundreds of surfaces. What we concluded is that you can use it on:
- Any rigid surface that will not bend (since bending can break the DTF UV)
- Any material that does not have excessive porosity, as that would prevent adhesion.
DTF UV opens up a world of possibilities, explore and tell us 🙂
- Due to variations in ink composition, the colors will not match a parallel print made with a conventional DTF printer.
- Colors may vary slightly and may not be identical. We recommend working in CMYK and using the FOGRA 39 color profile. There will still be variation between what you see on the monitor and real life, but with these settings, what you see and what we produce will be as close as possible.
- We only take responsibility for printing defects or faults caused by us and our printers.
